My DD has suddenly started play with her food when I try to feed her. She's nearly 10mths and has no teeth (though no lack of teething) so I have to pureed everything but I know that she's desperate to feed herself. She has finger food like sandwiches and crackers and fruit (melons) for snacks but with main meals starts to grab the spoon letting the food fly getting it everywhere which is frustrating me no end. Extraordinarily she only does this with me and my mother in law is claiming now I should be trying to feed her more food at meal times (she has 3 meals, 2 snacks plus 3 cups of 200ml milk) but it's a battle every single time I have to feed her. Does anyone have any advice for finger food for main meals that can be eaten with no teeth?
